Andy received his Bachelors in Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University in 2002.  He spent the next decade in IT and Management consulting with Accenture working with the R&D organizations of the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies to optimize their clinical development organizations and technologies.  He joined Medidata Solutions in 2011 and has held a variety of roles in the customer and analytics organizations. ​ Andy currently leads Medidata’s Analytics business.  In this capacity he is responsible for the development and execution of the ​organization’s strategy and solutions, managing a portfolio of 8 offerings.  His team’s current focus is optimizing the outcomes of clinical trials through predictive modeling techniques based on Medidata’s historical operational and clinical data asset.  Recent examples of industry collaborations and project led by Andy’s team include the creation of synthetic control arms for early phase Oncology studies and the use of real world evidence data and historical site and investigator performance data to enhance the study feasibility and site selection processes.
