INTRO
Financial News is hosting Seoul International Food Forum to support the development of the
Korean food industry and the globalization of K-Food.
Seoul International Food Forum is the one and only internal forum which specializes in the
food sector. It became a significant event sponsored by government departments, academic
circles and related industries etc.
The 6th Seoul International Food Forum’s main theme is “Food, Maintaining Health”. As
we are entering era of centenarian, healthy food demands are rapidly increasing for the
hundred-year-olds, and the markets involved are also growing.
In the food industry, healthy food has emerged as the growth power of next-generation.
Of course, the food industry has become a challenge in the era of providing healthy foods.
Through the 6th Seoul International Food Forum , Financial News will highlight the global
trends in the food consumption market, successful business cases, and developments in
new technologies related to food processing and packaging. Also through with expert of

Lamine Lahouasnia is the Head of Food and Nutrition at Euromonitor International.In his current role, Lamine leads Euromonitor International’s food and nutrition syndicated research programme. He is directly responsible for shaping Euromonitor International’s quantitative research which is conducted across 100 markets. Lamine manages several teams of highly experienced food and nutrition analysts which produce expertly written analysis on global, regional and local trends within the industry. In Lamine’s previous role as a senior member of Euromonitor’s Retailing Team he specialized in modern grocery formats and wrote in depth analysis on the world’s leading retailers of Packaged Food. Lamine’s external contributions have included a feature for a special edition of the China Daily on how the retail environment has evolved since the liberalisation of trade regulations.
