Intro
Busan Financial News was launched in 2012
as an independent corporation for the readers
of the Busan region by the
Financial News, which is the “First-Class” economics newspaper.
To commemorate
the 6th year of establishment, together with the
Busan City and
BNK Financial Group, it is jointly hosting the 6th Busan Global Finance Forum on
November 5th at the Busan International Finance
Center Kamco Maru Hall.
The wave of change called the “4th Industrial Revolution” is changing even
the topography
of the financial industry. With the advent of internet banking
and mobile banking becoming
more common by combining information and
communication technology, the number of
customers seeking traditional bank
teller services is rapidly decreasing. Busan, greeting
its 10th year of anniversary since being
designated as a financial center by the government,
is expected to experience
faster changes as it is designated a block-chain regulation-free area.
The 6th
Busan Global Financial Forum hosted by Busan Financial News shall present
a
clear direction for Busan, the financial center, to head towards, and we are
confident
that it will be a place to propose a solution for the city to leap
into becoming a financial
hub city in Northeast Asia.
The theme of the Busan Global Finance
Forum, which is being opened for the 6th
year, has also
been set as “Busan Finance Center Designation 10th Anniversary, Opening a New Chapter”.
We
are looking forward to your great interest and support for this event, which is
jointly hosted by
the Busan Economic Promotion Agency International Finance
City Promotion Center,
Busan National University Graduate School of Finance and
Korea Maritime University.
