▶Introduction
A Chinese AI startup, “DeepSeek,” has shocked the world with its unprecedented approach. This is expected to accelerate
digital transformation across every industry, as it has challenged the belief that AI requires an astronomical amount of investment
for its development, and now anyone can use an open-source-based AI model.
As AI is expected to bring about improvement not just in day-to-day life but also in work productivity and business efficiency,
companies are now speeding up their digital transformation. AI transformation has become the top priority for every company,
increasing their demands for organizational and infrastructure changes that may lead to innovation.
A market researcher, IDC, predicts that over the next three years, AI spending will grow 1.7 times faster than overall digital technology
investment, generating an economic impact worth 1.6 trillion dollars (2,233 trillion KRW) in the Asia Pacific region by 2027.
This means AI will be at the heart of digital business strategies, creating a significant opportunity for Asia Pacific companies.
To keep up with the trend, Financial News will hold the 16th Future ICT Forum under the theme of “AX Survival Strategy in the Era of Change.”
Key topics such as the information needed for AI-based digital transformation, shifts in technology paradigms, responses from companies and
governments, and the evolving future of ecosystems will be discussed, based on the latest market issues—including AX strategies
that determine a company’s competitiveness.
